Privacy Policy

In short: the GTA 6 Daily News publishing tool connects only to the channel's own accounts. It uses TikTok access solely to upload our own videos, stores tokens encrypted, never sells or shares that data, and collects nothing about viewers.

This policy explains what information the GTA 6 Daily News publishing tool (the "App") receives, how it is used, and the choices available. The App is operated by the individual who runs the GTA 6 Daily News channel ("we", "us").

1. What the App is

The App is a private publishing tool. It turns public gaming news into short narrated videos and uploads them to the GTA 6 Daily News accounts on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. Only the channel's operator uses it. It is not offered to the public, and no other person signs in to it.

2. Information we receive from TikTok

When the channel's TikTok account authorizes the App, TikTok provides:

An access token and a refresh token, so the App can act for that account.
Basic profile information under the user.info.basic scope: the account's open ID, display name and avatar.

The App also uses the video.upload scope to send finished videos to that account's TikTok inbox, where they are reviewed and posted by hand.

3. How we use it

Only to upload the channel's own videos to the channel's own account, and to confirm which account is connected. We do not use TikTok data for advertising, profiling or analytics, and we never sell it.

4. How it is stored

Tokens are held in the encrypted credential store of the automation platform that runs the App (n8n Cloud). Profile information is not kept beyond what is needed to confirm the connection. Access is limited to the channel operator.

5. Sharing

We do not share TikTok data with anyone. The App relies on service providers to host the automation (n8n), render video (JSON2Video) and draft scripts (OpenAI). Those providers receive public news headlines and script text only. No TikTok account data is sent to them.

6. People who watch our videos

The App does not collect information about people who watch, like or comment on our videos. Those interactions happen on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram and are covered by each platform's own privacy policy.

7. Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept only while the authorization is active. Access can be revoked at any time from the app permissions section of the TikTok account's settings. After access is revoked, stored tokens are deleted within 30 days.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly receive information about them.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
